Ethio-Djibouti Standard Gauge Railway Share Company (or Shortly Ethio-Djibouti Railway (EDR)) was established in April 2017, based on the Bilateral Agreement signed on 16th of December 2016 between the two states, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Djibouti.
The Shareholders Agreement subsequently signed on the 11th day of January 2017 among Public Bodies and State Enterprises of the two countries, to be administered pursuant to the commercial laws of Ethiopia.

Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Railway,Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Electro Mechanical,Automotive Engineering, Railway System, Industrial Engineering,General Mechanics,Automotive Technology,Electo Mechanical Technology,Machining Technology.
Relevent Experience: No Prior Experience Required(fresh Graduates are Encoreged)
Required No: 50
Work Place: Sebeta,Indode,Modjo,Adama,Diredawa and Djibouti.
Additional Requirement
Cartification For Level III,IV & V Applicant’s a COC(Certificate Of Competancy) is Mandatory
National ID: Valid National ID(Fayda)
There is a semi military training program(Structured & Disciplined Program ) For One Year Combined Theorotical & practical Training) Training Location Will Be Announced.
Phyisical and phsycological fitness: Applicants Must Be In Good Health,Physically Fit and memtally prepared for rigirous training.
