Job Position 1 – Life Insurance Officer-II

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/BSC degree in Management/ Accounting/Economics/Marketing/ Statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in insurance business.
Required No: 2
Location: Addis Ababa

Competencies & Abilities required
Considerable knowledge of life insurance business
Good knowledge of life insurance policies and procedures of the company
Ability to undertake risk assessment and prepare policy documents
Ability to compute premiums correctly
Good communication and human relations skills

Job Position 2 – Underwriting Officer

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/BSC degree in Management/ Accounting/Economics/Marketing/ Statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University
Experience: A minimum of one(1) years of relevant experience in insurance business.
Required No: 4
Location: Addis Ababa

Competencies & Abilities required
Basic knowledge of insurance business
Basic knowledge of risk assessment methods/techniques
Basic knowledge of core business governing policies and procedures
Ability to collect ,compile and analyze data

Job Position 3 – Underwriting Officer- II

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/BSC degree in Management/ Accounting/Economics/Marketing/ Statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University
Experience: A minimum of Four(4) years of relevant experience in insurance business.
Required No: 3
Location: Addis Ababa

Competencies & Abilities required
Handles queries from customers on policy terms, conditions and exceptions
Calculates premium for the class of business and sum insured using rate charts
Issues underwritten policies to customers after ensuring premium settlement or arrangement of payment

Job Position 4 – Senior Underwriting Officer

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/BSC degree in Management/ Accounting/Economics/Marketing/ Statistics or other related field of study from a recognized University
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in insurance business.
Required No: 3
Location: Addis Ababa

Competencies & Abilities required
Assists in planning underwriting and branch operation activities
Conducts pre and post risk surveys
Conducts market studies to explore and exploit market opportunities
Checks and initials on documents after typing and ensures that endorsements, clauses, warranties

Job Position 5 – Manager, Internal Audit Service

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA Degree in Accounting /Accounting and Finance field of study from a recognized University. Diploma in Insurance and Higher Education is preferable.
Experience: A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in Insurance Business; 3 years of which in supervisory positions

Location: Addis Ababa

Competencies & Abilities required
knowledge of audit and financial management principles, procedures and practices
Diploma in Insurance and Higher Education is preferable
Thorough knowledge of financial laws and audit regulations
Ability to analyze financial statements
Good knowledge of insurance business
Good communication skill
Good interpersonal relation and analytical skill
Dependable &Team Player
