Job Position – Sales and Marketing Officer

Required Qualification and Exprience
Education: BA degree in Sales and Marketing or other social science fields.
Logistics Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling logistics solutions, preferably in a business development role. Familiarity with the International express courier industry will be considered a strong advantage.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the logistics industry in Ethiopia and the wider region. Understand the key players, market dynamics, and emerging trends. Stay updated on shipping terms, requirements, and regulations.
Salary: Negotiable

Duties and Responsibilities
Acquisition, Retention, and Growth of Customers: Identify and target potential customers in the market, develop strategies to acquire new clients, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Implement initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, resulting in long-term partnerships.

Revenue and Profitability Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing customers. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.

Sales Pipeline Development: Build a rich sales pipeline by actively prospecting and qualifying leads. Implement effective lead generation strategies and manage the sales process from initial contact to closure. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Exceptional Hit Rate: Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs. Present compelling proposals and negotiate contracts to achieve a high success rate in winning new business. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.
