Required Qualification and Experience

Responsibilities and Duties
Documenting functional and nonfunctional old IT items.
Managing network cables and listing active computers.
Documentation Assistance: Assist the GIZ ICT service team members with the documentation planned for April and May 2025.
Network Renovation: Assist with network renovation, configuration, and documentation works planned for the third quarter of 2025.
Old IT Items Testing and Troubleshooting: Assist in testing old IT items and listing those that are no longer required and troubleshooting.
Cable Management: Assist with cable management work planned for August and September 2025.
Active Computer Documentation: Assist in documenting active computer lists planned for June and July 2025.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in implementing across the three components of the BMM programme in Ethiopia.
Assist the Regional Coordinator (RC) and programme staff with their administrative and programme support tasks.
Assist in maintaining a good flow of communication and information between partner institutions, counterparts, and GIZ BMM.
Assist the finance and technical staff in liaising with partner institutions regarding financial agreements.
Organizes and coordinates appointments for BMM Programme staff, as directed
Assists the finance manager and technical advisors in facilitating the preparation of financial and technical reports from partner organizations that have financial agreements with BMM (grants, local subsidies, financial agreements, and service contracts).
Assist the BMM M&E focal point in updating the BMM Annual Work Plan and Beneficiary Tracker.
Assisting the communication focal point in gathering information on upcoming events and preparing social media posts
Assist in preparing and organizing information materials for program staff, workshops, trainings, and/or meetings.
Helps organize and document events, trainings meetings, workshops, and seminars
Assists with transcription and translation from Amharic to English
Collaborates in preparing visitor programs and travel schedules with other BMM staff.
Assists with organizational and administrative tasks as well as other duties related to the daily office routine.
Assists in travel management for partners, ensuring all documentation is complete.
Maintains the information board for duty trips and leave days.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: A bachelor’s degree in economics, Development Studies, International Relations, Business Administration, Public Policy, Information Technology, Computer Science or in a comparable subject, preferably with a focus on digital transformation.
Strong interest in digital governance, innovation and AI policy.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage the development and implementation of project initiatives such policy papers, African AI business survey and accessibility to AI data
Coordinate the planning implementation and publication of a survey on African AI businesses.
Research and analyse current AI datasets in Africa and develop a pilot to make these datasets accessible to African businesses.
Organise AI policy dialogues including panel discussions and roundtable discussions at continental, regional and national conferences.
Cooperate with a broad range of stakeholders working on AI in Africa, mainly the private sector, but also from the public sector and civil society
Manage meetings and events of the initiative with other stakeholders and service providers (preparation, implementation, follow-up, information flow)
Facilitate administrative and logistical procedures for activities in coordination with the GIZ administration team
