Job Position 1 – Trainee Legal Advisor

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law from a renowned educational institution with a CGPA of 3.6 and above.
Experience: No work experience is required.
Eager to learn from senior legal professionals.
Excellent reasoning and critical thinking ability.
Clear writing skill.
Fluency in communication skill in Amharic and English is mandatory.

Position Summary
The incumbent’s responsibilities will be to learn from the company senior legal advisors on rendering corporate legal advisory services. The talent profile that the company is seeking is a fresh graduate with no prior experience of working and seeks to learn about legal advisory services in a well organized corporate setting.

Duties and responsibilities:
Assist in planning and coordinating legal activities of the Enterprise.
Train on providing legal advice and counselling to all organizational components of the Enterprise.
Advice personnel policy and procedures of the Enterprise are in conformity with the labour law, collective agreement and other pertinent laws of the country.
Provide necessary assistance in drafting and interpreting all contracts, agreements and legal documents as to their legal sufficiency and protection of the interests of the Enterprise and as per the contract management policy.
Collect and present an up-to-date file of legal notices, proclamations, legal codes and other legal documents.
Participates in investigation of thefts, forgeries and misappropriations involving the Enterprise’s property or funds and advice appropriate legal actions for the rectification thereof.
Provides advice and guidance to stakeholders on the technicalities of complex legal issues.
Assist in conducting legal research and makes necessary preparation regarding collective agreements.
Participate in advising the company senior management members on legal related issues
Learn on providing advisory service during a formation of new company, merger and dissolving of business.
Manage any legal process during the establishment new company or business ;Take a minute during in a legal related meeting
Learn on providing necessary consultancy in issues related to Tax Law, Criminal and Civil Code for the organization
Perform any other tasks given by the direct manager;

Job Position 2 – Insurance Officer

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Law, Accounting and Finance or related fields from a renowned institution.
At least 4 (four) to 8 (eight) years of demonstrated work experience in the insurance sector

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the line manager, the Insurance Officer will:
Supervise all insurance policies and claims in-line with insurance policies.
Reviewing and providing guidance on current policies
Responsible for identifying the necessity of which types of insurance package for HCG
Being the first contact person for any insurance related activities
Managing entering, reviewing, renewal and payments settlements of all types of insurance with consultation with concerned business unites
Managing any types of insurance accidents end to end process
Handle claims linked to all types of insurance coverage
Monitor the performance of Complimentary Health/Illness Insurance Cover and report any cases of abuse.
Update and reviewing existing policies
Communicate with Insurance brokers/or Insurance claim department to obtain information necessary for processing claims.
In consultation with the Finance department, /Line manger ensure timely settlement of premiums and renewal of insurance
Prepare monthly reports for the attention of the line manager
Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
