Job Position – MicroWave Engineer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:BSc degree in telecom/ in Computer Engineering.
Project Experience:Previous Experience with similar position in mobile operator or similar Project Years of experience
work Place: Addis Ababa
Deadline : March 20th 2025
Professional Knowledge
Configuration and Commissioning for Microwave Huawei product, including software parameter configuration. In addition, work on site surveying, hardware installation, and acceptance, knowledge of Microwave IDU/ODU sites equipment.
Operation and Maintenance Microwave products, including Common-band/E-band/SDB/LH links, alarm monitor troubleshooting, OptiX RTN software upgrade,
Remote and onsite technical support for customer support Microwave equipment,
Design Microwave link budget, knowledge how to use iRiver tool and WebLCT.
Provides customers with voice/data network technical support including problem escalation resolution and takes responsibility for customer satisfaction with equipment and service.
Deliver Microwave Products, including site surveying, hardware installation, and acceptance
Business Skills
Preferred Experience in similar position with Mobile Operator or Vendor
Good command of English spoken and written
Able to work under stress
Must be a Team player as well as self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision.
About the Job
Handle maintenance Issues
Take ownership in maintenance troubleshooting till resolution.
coordinate the activities of field regarding the MW.
Prepare the related reports.
Interface customer maintenance team and engineering team
Language Skill: English
Requirement Skill: Web (Internet savviness, basic HTML, CSS)
