Position 1 – Cashier

Qualification: Holder of a University degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable university
Demonstrate proficiency in use of computer especially Micro soft office applications
Experience:  not required

Main Duties & Responsiblities:

Receive cash/cheques from customer/salesmen/credit controller.
Process receipts into the customer account and cash/ cheque holding accounts,
Confirm and receipt appropriately all mobile money transferred to the company business account
Daily reconciliation of the cash and cheque holding ledger accounts
Prepare daily banking documents of both cash and cheque receipts and send to bank,
Post daily banking out of cash and cheque holding account into Bank accounts,
Prepare daily report on receipt of cash and cheque receipts and banking schedule.
Ensure petty cash is maintained at the authorized maximum limit every day and each reimbursement is promptly requisitioned and authorized,
Make payments of petty cash claims after ensuring that they are properly authorized,
Process petty cash claims through the Ledger including all details required for expense analysis,
Prepare daily report on petty cash balance and reconcile to the Ledger.
Write supplier cheques / prepare telegraphic transfers as per authorized cheque requisitions,
Issue signed cheques to suppliers,
Maintain Cheques register and issue cheques to Suppliers.
Keep all customer postdated cheques in the safe,
Maintain a report for all postdated cheques and circulate to Credit Controller, Financial Accountant and Head of Finance every Monday morning.

Position 2 – IT Officer

Qualification: Possess a first Degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering electronics and telecommunication or their equivalent from a recognized university or equivalent,
Experience: Four years progressively relevant experience gained working in a busy IT setup with over 80 users
MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA qualifications are added advantage.

Main Duties & Responsiblites

Provide technical support during IT equipment purchases.

Help the Corporate IT Manager in managing IT expenses.
To ensure training of all users in all IT related packages.
Ensure all IT related equipment are stable, reliable, and fully operational, for example:
Laptops, Desktops, Palm tops, iPADS, Servers, telephones, printers, Routers, Modems, projectors, and any other IT related items.
Maintain up-to-date IT Inventory lists.
As a daily routine check that all business applications are up and running. Any deviations from optimum should be immediately resolved or escalated.
Ensure all software is licensed and proper upgrades done.
Attend to users’ day-to-day IT requests.
Carryout regular and scheduled system backups.
Backup Restore tests must be done once every quarter.
Check and document all user authorities on all business platforms once every quarter.
Ensure all user configurations on PCs are according to the IT Policy.
Ensure acceptable uptime on Local and Wide Area Network connectivity:
Internet
E-mail
Network Nodes
Ensure all Servers and Clients OS, Application software and antivirus toolkits are updated to the latest versions as specified by Corporate IT.
Keep system operation documentation, train, and help users make maximum use of documentation for better productivity.
Interpret and implement Corporate IT support software recommendations.
Work as a Help Desk support for local users and collaborate with Corporate IT.
Work with and develop interns – if any.
Check & monitor the UPS health status is ok.
Maintain & Configure IP phones and the PABX.

Must update the IT manager 100% on all IT and non-IT related issues.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Territory IT Manager.

Skills

Networking, Installation, Configuration, troubleshooting of windows-based operating system, Microsoft Office, Web application and RAS applications.
Cloud based computing.
IT Security.
Hardware and software troubleshooting & maintenance.
Managing AD, cloud, DPM server & sharepoint portal.
Ability to maintain, troubleshoot & enhancing the core LAN/WAN network, security and voice infrastructure comprising of routers, switches, FG, Video Conference, Teleconference and PABX.
Excellent interpersonal & verbal and written communication skills.
Independent thinker with the highest level of integrity.

Position 3 – HSE Coordinator

Degree in physical sciences with leaning towards engineering.  Degree in health & safety will be preferred
Diploma in health & safety or environmental sciences
6 years post academic experience in Health, Safety and / or Environmental Management
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications

Knowledge

Clear understanding of Ethiopia health and safety legislation
H&S awareness

Skills

Articulate and able to communicate well in both written and oral
High level of integrity and of strong analytical skills
Independent thinker
High attention to detail
Ability to establish and maintain excellent mutually beneficial working relationships with staff and other departments to ensure smooth running of the section.
