Job Position – Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
work Place: Addis Ababa

Skills:
Fluent in English and Amharic (spoken and written).
Strong IT background, including proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations is a plus.
Pursuit of a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is advantageous.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monitor expenditures against budgeted amounts.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Cost Analysis: Analyze company costs to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management for decision-making.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with company policies.
