Job Position – Stock Accountant

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA in Accounting, Business Administration, Purchase and Supplies Management
Location: Addis Ababa
Deadline : March 12,2025

Responsibilities
Reviewing sales/purchase orders for accuracy and ensuring that they have been approved by the appropriate department head or manager,
Calculating cost of goods sold by using methods such as first in first out (FIFO) or last in first out (LIFO),
Calculating inventory turnover ratios by dividing costs of goods sold by average inventory balances,
Monitoring inventory levels to ensure they are within acceptable ranges,
Ensuring that all inventory transaction details are recorded accurately in an accounting system,
Reporting on inventory levels, costs, and turnover rates to management,
Calculating cost of goods sold by using methods such as average cost, FIFO, LIFO or average market price,
Verifying inventory counts and recording adjustments to inventory levels for items that have been used, damaged or lost,

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Diploma in any field of study preferably Computer Science and Secretarial Science
Computer literacy
2 years of service
Required Number: 1
Location: Addis Ababa
Deadline : March 12th 2025

Responsibilities
Examine perishable information such as digital and analogue documents and record a complete list based on the timeline significance, origin, and value of archival documents.
Classify company’s archival collections in to categories for simplicity and management.
Preserve collections of classified records and documents in a conducive and favorable environment.
Establish catalogue for ease retrieval of valuable collections following chronology and categories.
Establish protocols and guidelines towards accessing and using archive documents.
Make archives and historical collections accessible to authorized employees.
Retrieve, select, and provide various records to company employees who enquire or need information about archives following guidelines.
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of company’s archives.
Discover, receive and locate new records and documents based on categories and timeline.
Update list of archival records.
