Duties and responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution:
Developing and implementing audit plans:
This includes identifying areas of risk, setting audit objectives, and determining the scope and methodology of audits.
Leading and supervising audit teams:
Assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring the timely and effective completion of audits.
Conducting audits:
Performing audit procedures, gathering evidence, and analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
Preparing audit reports:
Documenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
Monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations:
Tracking progress and ensuring that corrective actions are taken to address identified issues.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Identifying and assessing risks: Evaluating the organization’s risk profile and identifying areas where risks are high.
Evaluating internal controls: Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls in mitigating risks.
Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies: Conducting audits to verify compliance and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices: Keeping abreast of changes in regulations and auditing standards.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicating audit findings to management:
Presenting audit reports and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Collaborating with other departments:
Working with different departments to ensure that audits are conducted effectively and that recommendations are implemented.
Consulting with and advising management on operational and administrative issues:
Providing insights and recommendations to improve processes and enhance risk management.
Develop and implement comprehensive internal audit plans and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and identify areas requiring audit attention.
Lead and supervise internal audit engagements, ensuring timely completion.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings to senior management.
Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow-up actions.
Mentor and develop audit team members, fostering professional growth.
Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
Perform other duties as per assigned by immediate supervisor.
Job Position 2 – Coffee Processing Plant Supervisor
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in coffee industry management, with at least 5 years specifically in the coffee processing industry
Demonstrated expertise in coffee processing techniques, flavor profiles, and quality assessment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, as per ISO and Ethiopian standards
Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Proficiency in production planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Job Position 3 – Coffee Processing Plant Maintenance & Repair Technician
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food processing or coffee industry
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining industrial equipment
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC controls
Familiarity with food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance software applications
Ability to lift at least up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency calls as needed
