Job Position 1 – HR Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a staff database and keep track of all relevant staff information.
Ensure job offer letters, contract agreements are timely prepared with Job description and signed by the employee.
Ensure that each employee has completed all pension formalities and has obtained a pension ID card.
Keep and update staff leave records.
Monitor contract expiry dates and renews contracts before it expires
Assist the hiring managers to prepare Job descriptions, advertise vacant positions, shortlist and schedule interviews.
Follow up status of recruitment for open and vacant positions.
Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers
Ensure all newly hired staff are scheduled for onboarding/orientation programs
Assist on Developing and maintaining training programs of all internal and external training
Ensure all training is monitored and recorded.
Assist on the performance evaluation process.
Ensure all received monthly payroll updates are compiled and organized on time.
Ensure all reports are accurate and completed and distributed within designated deadlines.
Use initiative to control, manage and continually improve the quality and efficiency of work in payroll.
Prepare termination and severance payments.
Ensure the benefits taxation, payroll processes are in compliance with government laws, payroll policies and procedures.
Provide weekly and monthly reports are required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage competitive compensation structures for all employee levels, aligning pay with organizational goals, industry benchmarks, and employee expectations.
Conduct regular salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure compensation remains competitive, equitable, and fair across the organization.
Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, bonuses, and perks, ensuring offerings meet employee needs and comply with legal requirements.
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments, resolving any discrepancies, and working closely with finance to maintain compliance with tax and labor laws.
Manage the annual compensation review process, collaborating with leadership to assess employee performance, market conditions, and make recommendations for salary adjustments or bonuses.
Design and implement employee engagement programs to enhance job satisfaction, morale, and retention, fostering a supportive and motivated workforce.
Conduct regular employee surveys to measure engagement, gather feedback on compensation and benefits, and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with HR leadership to create and implement initiatives that promote a positive work culture, focusing on inclusivity, well-being, and professional development.
Develop and manage recognition programs to acknowledge outstanding performance, ensuring employees feel valued for their contributions.
Serve as a key resource for employees on all compensation, benefits, and engagement-related matters, providing clarity and resolving issues efficiently.
Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws regarding compensation, benefits, and leave entitlements, and update policies as necessary to adhere to new regulations.
Stay informed about legal and market trends, integrating best practices into the organization’s policies to maintain competitiveness and compliance.
Administer employee leave policies (e.g., annual, sick, maternity/paternity) ensuring they align with company policy and comply with labor regulations.
Track and manage leave balances, providing employees with clear information on their entitlements and encouraging healthy work-life balance.
Resolve employee queries regarding leave entitlements or discrepancies, ensuring a smooth process for both employees and management.
Prepare detailed reports on compensation trends, benefits utilization, employee engagement, and leave balances, supporting leadership in decision-making. This includes generating leave reports to assist with staffing, resource planning, and making recommendations for optimizing leave policies to improve employee retention
