Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. Samaritan’s Purse is privileged to be part of the humanitarian effort in Ethiopia and legally registered as foreign charity to work in Ethiopia since October 08, 2018.

Position 1 – Information Officer

Education / Experience Needed

Graduate in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
Relevant experience and training preferred, especially in the humanitarian sector.
Proficiency in writing and editing.
Proficiency in using Canon DSLR camera gear to capture photographs and video; proficiency in, or willingness to learn, capturing video clips and interviews utilizing a smartphone.
Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Light Room, etc.).
One year of college-level Biblical studies strongly preferred.
Language: Proficient in reading and writing in English. Working knowledge of Amharic is required.
Work Place: Addis Ababa

Position 2 – Human Resourse Coordinator

Education / Experience Needed

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
At least three years related experience required.
Language: Proficient in reading and writing in English. Working knowledge of Amharic is required.
