Shabelle Bank is a fully licensed Commercial Bank in Ethiopia to conduct all its operations under the principles of Islamic banking and be fully disengaged from interest-based transactions.

Position 1 – Teller

Qualifications: BA Degree in Economics, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Management, or any other related fields.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Branch banking.

The Job Objective is to enhance customer satisfaction by serving them with due care and maximum efficiency and promote the Branch’s resource mobilization effort by cross selling the Bank’s products, attending to customers and providing efficient and quality service to customers.
Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2 – Main Cashier

Required No:2
Qualifications: BA Degree in Economics, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Management, or any other related fields.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Branch operation in the Banking industry, of which at least 1 year as a cashier.

The Job Objective May cover but is not limited to assisting customers with daily cash inquiries which include accepting credit slips, sorting checks, and ensuring a balance in all transactions at the end of the working period. It may be required to perform by handling complaints and requests from customers and resolving the issues around cash; therefore, the bank cashier must be proficient, fast and precise while dealing with customers.

Position 3 – Customer Service Supervisor

Required No:2
Qualification: B.A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management and related fields.
Experience: 2 years of banking experience

The Job Objective is to Manage cash of the branch, coordinate and coach the activities of the customer service officer, provide an optimal customer service by ensuring service-related digitalization meets the customer expectation and ensure growth by managing marketing campaign. Making sure the financial and operational activities of the Branch are in line with the Bank’s policies, procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
Location: Addis Ababa

Position 4 – Branch Manager

Required No:2
Qualification & Experience: B.A Degree in Accounting, Management and related fields. 3 to 5 years of banking experience.

The Job Objective is to Lead and coordinate the marketing activities of all staffs within the branch, support the sustainable and profitable growth of the Bank and improve the efficiency of the branch operation and resource utilization by enhancing attraction, satisfaction and retention of existing customers through providing excellent customer service delivery.
