Managed by experienced Ethiopian, American, and visiting doctors, WMC opened in January 2015 and has since served over 120,000 patients. Initially an internal medicine specialty center, it offers 24-hour care with US and Ethiopian-trained doctors in sub-specialties like cardiology, neurology, and oncology. Job Position 1 – Junior Customer Service Officer

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field of study
Experience: 0 years of experience

Skills
Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.

Essential duties:
Receive and lead clients according to their requests.
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
Communicating with customers through various channels.
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.

Job Position 2 – Junior Nurse Professionals

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Essential duties:
Identify patients’ care requirements focus on their needs and act on them
Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
Resolve or report on patients’ needs or problems
Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc.)
Monitor and record patient’s condition and document provided care services
Treat medical emergencies
Administer workloads
Follow care regulations and standards
Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team

Job Position 3 – Associate Engineer

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: A BSc in Civil Engineering or construction management
A minimum of Five years of experience as Site Engineer or Office Engineer positions in at least two construction projects
Experience in healthcare sector construction projects is highly sought
Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies, on a technical level
Proven ability to work under pressure and in a constantly evolving and challenging environment
Enthusiastic learner with a can-do attitude
Excellent written and oral communication abilities and organizational skills, with experience working collaboratively as part of fast-paced team
Fluency in English is essential

Essential duties:
Perform all engineering works as per direction of the CPM.
Assist the CPM on project development and implementation planning, including providing content
Prepare necessary quality control and work plan to supervise construction activities of sub- contractors and main contractors.
Assist the CPM on review works, project timelines and cost of materials submitted by contracted firms and facilitate their speedy approval.
Perform continuous quality control, monitoring and evaluation on projects under construction
Review and certify payment requests and facilitate their approval with
Support operations, finance and other teams on construction related works.
Prepare periodic construction report, follow-up pending issues and Flag any construction risks
Term of Employment: Project Based- One year contract initially

Job Position 4 – Scrub Nurse

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Experience: At least 5 years’ experience as a scrub nurses especially in orthopedic, urology and neurosurgery.

Essential duties:
Preparing the Operating Room: Ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and arranged for the procedure.
Assisting During Surgery: Hand instruments to the surgeon, maintain the sterile field, and anticipate the surgeon’s needs to ensure the procedure runs smoothly.
Instrument Management: Count and track all surgical tools before, during, and after the procedure to ensure nothing is left inside the patient.
Patient Care: Assist with positioning the patient on the operating table and preparing the surgical site by cleaning and disinfecting the area.
Post-Operative Duties: Help clean the patient, transfer them to the recovery room, and document all aspects of the surgery, including instruments used.
Ensuring Compliance: Follow all hospital safety, sterilization, and infection control protocols, and participate in team briefings to ensure a successful surgery.

Job Position 5 – ICU and Critical care Nurse

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Experience: At least 5 years’ experience as an ICU nurse or critical care unit.

Available to work 12-hour day and night shifts.
Demonstrate brilliant empathy and communication skills.
Ability to work in a stressful and emotional environment.

Essential duties:
Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress.
Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
Begin treatment and monitor doses.
If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit.
Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient.
Maintain patient records.
Create and implement effective care plans.
