Washington Medical Center (WMC) is a specialized secondary care health facility managed and staffed by Ethiopian, American and other visiting doctors who are committed to provide quality & affordable health care for residents of Addis Ababa including the international community.

The company is owned and managed by a group of physicians who have decades of experience in healthcare service and management with training and exposure to western standard healthcare and training.

The medical center is born as a result of the shareholders’ deep understanding of the demand for high quality healthcare service in Ethiopia and their deep commitment to contribute what they can towards meeting that. It opened its doors for service in January 2015. It has since become one of the best and the biggest medical centers operating in Addis Ababa serving more than 120,000 patients in just five years.

Currently, the center is primarily an internal medicine specialty center which provides a 24hours service using US and Ethiopian trained doctors. Sub-specialty services of internal medicine such as cardiology, neurology, nephrology, hematology, oncology, endocrinology, infectious diseases and travel medicine are among other disciplines for which the consultant physicians are available. The center will continue to mobilize competent doctors from Ethiopia and abroad to join hands to expand its service even further. The medical center would also be a multi-specialty service center before being upgraded to a full blown tertiary care hospital and medical school.

Position 1 –  Junior ICT Officer

Job Requirement

Provide timely and effective first level technical support for staff and other users across the the company via phone, email and in person.
Installing and configuring new and updated hardware, software, systems, networks and printers etc.
Basic technical support, problem solving, and assistance to staff and and other users including remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and questioning
Set up accounts for new starters and provide accurate information on ICT products and services
Follow up, update customers, and progress outstanding issues to resolution
Direct unresolved issues to more senior members of the ICT team
Monitor, test and maintain computer systems and networks
Ensure all records and files are kept confidential and the integrity of the company is maintained

Position  2 – Junior Customer Service Officer

Qualification,Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in any related field of study
Related work experience on similar position is an advantage.
Proven experience of customer service
Excellent organizing abilities
Great attention to detail
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Computer literacy is desirable

Duties and Responsibilities

Receive and lead clients according to their requests.
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
Communicating with customers through various channels.
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.

Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
Create and maintain reports on customer interactions
Encourage customers to complete satisfaction surveys
Make recommendations to managers to improve customer experience
